The Factory Theatre

Established in December 2006, The Factory Theatre is Sydney’s newest and most exciting live performance venue.

After three highly successful years programming the entertainment for Level 2 @Newtown RSL, (which included performances from: Wolfmother, The Mountain Goats, Sarah Blasko, End of Fashion, Youth Group, Cat Power, Jose Gonzalez, Augie March, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Josh Pyke, the critically acclaimed musical Hedwig & The Angry Inch, and world class comedians such as Daniel Kitson, Danny Bhoy, Adam Hills and Wil Anderson), Century Venues decided to focus its experience and expertise on the development of a dedicated live performance venue.

The Factory Theatre is the result – a unique venue with unrivalled sound and lighting, flexible modes and capacities, brilliant sight-lines and a stylish and comfortable interior.
