FireWorks is a unique blend of cultural dance, circus, fire artistry, pyrotechnics and world music, combined to produce the most exciting and dynamic shows seen today.

Introducing Melbourne’s longest established and most acclaimed fire performance troupe, FireWorks Dance Company.
Our artists come from varied backgrounds including traditional circus, street performance, physical theatre and cultural dance and display skills that include, Fire fan-dancing, Fire swallowing and Fakir (body trailing), Fire staff and Double staff, Fire Poi-chains and mace, Fire Devil-stick, Fire breathing, Fire sabre-fighting and the very special Flame-thrower just to name a few. Other skills of note are side show acts like Bed of nails, Angle grinding, Candle Contortion and Fortune telling. Unique to FireWorks is the ability to combine all these performance skills with fire installations, signs and sculptures aswell as theatrical pyrotechnic displays to create a spectacle like no other.
