The Smokehouse Café is designed to cater for smaller and more unique corporate functions and whether you choose to confer over lunch or spread the word in the “Engine Room” we have a spot to meet the moment.

A great way to draw the day to a close is to have a tutored tasting of Poachers renowned gourmet smoked meats matched to the award winning Wily Trout wines.

Our waiting staff will give you personalised and attentive service and with the relaxed rural setting (with only sheep & cockatoos to disturb the peace!) your delegates’ creativity is sure to be inspired.



Weddings

The perfect venue for a country wedding
Poachers Pantry is a unique wedding venue close to Canberra.

The lawns around the café and the terrace overlooking the old slab woolshed are beautiful in the early evening light. The homestead lawn provides a perfect spot for a twilight wedding ceremony under the spreading boughs of the ancient golden elm, followed by canapés on the lawn whilst photographs are being taken. The unique country setting provides a stunning backdrop for your special wedding photos.

The old weatherboard café which has been lovingly restored has an intimate feel and room for up to 100 people to dine. The café’s flexible space allows you to create a unique atmosphere for a memorable reception. Whether it is a casual country or formal dining theme we are able to help you create the perfect mood. Larger weddings can be accommodated in a marquee at an additional cost.

Poachers Pantry also shares its home with the Wily Trout vineyard. The vineyard is an excellent backdrop for perfect wedding photos.
